Welcome to the home of the Regional, National, and World Champions of Irish Dance. For 41 years, the Mullane and Godley families have been recognized as one of the premier Irish dance teaching staffs and dance schools in the country. The Academy was founded on a unique philosophy that all dancers, regardless of level, are treated the same. This philosophy has been handed down to the next generation of teachers and dancers. We want everyone to have fun, enjoy the class, and no step is the wrong step. MG offers both recreational classes and competitive classes.

Two Free Tot or Beginner Lessons
We are proud to pass our love of Irish Dancing to your children. The teaching staff has instilled a sense of confidence in each child we teach. We love what we do and we share that with our dancers. In turn, they love to dance.
Instruction is always provided in a fun and enjoyable atmosphere that allow each dancer to progress at their own pace. We truly feel that the Mullane Godley Academy provides dancers a sense of family, teamwork, and self esteem that carries with the dancer long after their Irish dance classes are over.

Here’s how to register ...
The Mullane Godley Academy is now accepting new Tot and Beginner students for our 2025 - 2026 program (along with registration for our other classes, including our Boys Only classes.
We maintain small class sizes to best teach our young new dancers. Unfortunately that means that each class size is limited.
To register, please complete the registration page in the brochure (click here), or just drop by and visit us at the studio during any class.

Edison Park / Park Ridge
MG has been a mainstay in the Edison Park area for over 30 years. Located near the border of Chicago, Niles, and Park Ridge near the intersection of Milwaukee and Touhy, the MG studio is convenient to both 294 and 90/94.
Lincoln Park / Lakeview
MG continues its long tradition in the Chicago area with classes in Lincoln Park. Located near the border of Lincoln Park, Old Town, and Lakeview, the Atheneum Center is convenient to both Lakeshore Drive and 90/94.

The teaching faculty at the Mullane Godley Academy is an international fusion of some of the most highly accomplished and decorated teachers in Irish dance today. We believe that one of our greatest assets is the diversity of the Mullane Godley teaching staff.
The Academy is proud to treat every MuGster equally ... this is not a goal, but a reality. Each dancer, whether Beginner, Recreational, or Competitive receives the same dedicated and energetic instruction from our international dedicated teaching staff. Each teacher brings a different perspective and approach and relies on their own strengths to further develop the abilities and talents of the dancers. Through the talents of the teaching staff and dancers, the Mullane Godley Academy is poised for the future.
